Our Philosophy
At Ameen Academy, we believe that education is most impactful when it begins with connection. Inspired by the principle of “Connect Before You Correct,” our approach places relationships at the heart of learning. We strive to create an environment where every child feels safe, heard, and valued. It is a place where trust and empathy are the foundation for both academic and character development.
Instead of rushing to correct behavior, our educators pause to understand each child’s emotions and perspective. We take time to actively listen, validate feelings, and respond with patience and kindness. By fostering strong connections first, we create space for authentic growth, effective communication, and lasting behavioral change.
Our classrooms are calm, joyful spaces where students are empowered to express themselves, make thoughtful choices, and build confidence. We encourage curiosity over judgment and focus on guiding rather than controlling, helping children develop the self awareness and emotional tools they need to thrive.
At Ameen Academy, we don’t just teach. We build relationships that support the whole child, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. This intentional and compassionate approach reflects our deep commitment to nurturing hearts and minds in a way that transforms stress into joy and challenges into meaningful learning.
Our curriculum is based of TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and aligned with state standards to ensure our students are gaining essential skills to succeed in today’s world.
Faith-Based Learning
We are proud of our exceptional Religious Studies Department, which continues to provide a strong foundation in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Quran, and Hifz. Through engaging storytelling, morning assemblies, Hadith studies, and Quran memorization, our teachers nurture love for Deen and personal growth.
Each grade level explores 99 Names of Allah (SWT), helping students connect deeply with their faith. Additionally, mindfulness and self-regulation practices are integrated from the Ghazali Project to help students polish their hearts and cultivate sincerity and kindness, our programs serve children from 6 weeks to 6th grade, offering flexible care options to support working families.
Located at 3401 Silverstone Drive, Plano, TX 75023, our campus is easily accessible to families in Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, and surrounding areas. We are also just minutes away from several local masajid.
